Elections
The Presidential Primary date is January 10, 2012; voting at the town hall is from 8 am to 7 pm. Contact us if you need an absentee ballot. If you are registered as either a Republican or Democrat, you must take that party’s ballot for the Primary only. If you are Undeclared, you will have to choose one party’s ballot. After you vote, you can change your party or revert back to Undeclared at the Supervisors of the Checklist table.
Town Positions Open
The filing period for Town offices is from January 25 through February 3. You MUST be a registered voter to run for an office. The following offices that are open for the March election are:
Town Moderator 2 yr term Town Clerk/Tax Collector 3 yr term Town Treasurer 3 yr term Town Selectman 3 yr term Supervisor of the Checklist 6 yr term Library Trustee 3 yr term Trustee of Trust Fund 3 yr term
